Welcome to my blog. Welcome to my view of the world.
This blog began when I crossed two continents and an ocean when I was 15 to live in Egypt for a year through a program called AFS. I went abroad with three goals: learn more Arabic, learn about the Egyptian culture, educate people through my blog.
The culture in the Middle East, Arab World, and religion of Islam is easily misunderstood and stereotyped. Even I knew little about it. I wanted to learn, obviously, but I wanted to be a vessel in which other people could learn too. I wrote about the things I learned and saw and experienced, and people did learn.
I will soon be traveling to Morocco where I will do the same thing. And I will continue to ask questions, learn new things, and write about them as I go everywhere.
I started this blog to gain a broad outlook on the world. Now, I want to gain a broader and broader outlook in every possible way.
